This is the story of Selina, the girl who will become catwoman as she struggles with who she is. Leaving an abusive home and apathetic mother she thinks she can survive all on her own. Homeless and alone Selina finds friendship with other outcasts.
I am new the in the DC universe, and this is my first Catwoman comic. I really enjoyed the story and the illustrations. The pictures are wonderful, the monochromatic color scheme makes you focus on the images and gives the reader an almost haunted and lonely feeling. Two thumbs up for this Catwoman origin story.
