This is the beginning of a new series for McCall Smith, Detective Varg, and it is a delight. The department of Sensitive crimes is a department full of detectives that investigate particularly odd cases, a man stabbed in the back of the knee and imaginary boyfriend going missing. However, once fully investigated the investigative team of Anna Bengsdotter, Ulf Varg, and Erik NyKvist and Carl Holgersson find that these crimes are not as weird as they first appeared.
Full of dry humor, this mystery will please a wide audience.
