The Moundridge Public Library has decided for the safety of staff and patrons to close our doors temporarily, beginning March 18th at noon. We have not come to this decision lightly, but are following the recommendations of the CDC, KDHE, and ALA (American Library Association). We will be reevaluating the situation on a weekly basis.
What will happen while the library is closed?
During the closure, library services will still be available on a limited basis. Beginning March 23rd staff will be available to answer phones from 9-4, Patrons may also contact the library via email at moundridgelibrary@gmail.com.
The book return will be closed after Wednesday March 18th but will re-open on Monday March 23rd.
Beginning March 23rd foyer pickup will be available for patrons who call ahead and reserve materials.
Interlibrary loan services will be suspended during closure.
Until further notice, all library events are canceled.
The library will not be assessing fines during the closure and will renew all items.
Patrons are encouraged explore the library’s website and to use the many online services provided by the Moundridge Public Library and the State of Kansas Library.  We will be updating our website, Facebook and Instagram with online programs, information, and closure updates.
The library is committed to providing the community with information. Please stay up to date on with these trusted Local, state, and national sites.
