Moundridge Public Library is partnering with Partners in Family Care (Moundridge) to promote literacy for families within the community. At well child visits, doctors are giving children a book and information about the library. Families can then bring a special card to the library and receive another free book with information about reading skills needed by age 6 (6×6 reading skills). This program is sponsored by a grant from the State of Kansas. Moundridge Public Library is only the 5th library in the state of Kansas to implement this program. We are excited to bring it to our community.
